Controlling Manager- D&C Project Team at CNOOC Uganda Limited

Location: Kampala, Uganda. Mobilized to Albert Lake, construction sites or other cities if required.

Primary function:
• To manage the schedule of the drilling and completion and cost control.

Responsibilities:
• Make schedule for cost and budgeting reports, give direction in making the schedule and cost plan of the project.
• Organize and make the procedure of schedule control, cost estimation and cost control.
• Track, analyze and forecast the schedule and cost, and provide adjustment advice in time, alerting management about cost and schedule deviation.
• Provide remedy action advice to management.
• Prepare project operation cost close out report and cost deviation justification.
• Organize the contractors and suppliers to provide the documents about schedule and cost.
• Organize and write notes about schedule and cost in bidding documents and contracts.
• Coordinate with financing group, operations and contractors for invoice verification and cost allocation.
• Participate in the negotiation about price and payment.
• Other duties assigned by leaders.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or above in Petroleum engineering, drilling and completion, planning and management or the related.
• At least 10-year related working experience in O&G Industry.
• EPC environment work experience is required.

Knowledge
• Extensive knowledge of planning, finance management and project management.
• Extensive knowledge of economic contract and laws.
• Knowledge of planning and cost control.
• Understanding of oil E&P.
