Location: Kampala, Uganda. Mobilized to Albert Lake, construction sites or other cities if required.
Primary function:
• To be Responsible for completion, work-over operation, ESP running, pulling operation, and technology management of the company.
Responsibilities:
• Ensure efficient QHSE management during completion, work-over and ESP running/pulling operation.
• Participate in reviewing the completion, work-over and ESP running/pulling program, Job safety analysis, and emergency response plan and ensure their implementation in field site.
• Participate in the tendering plan and bidding strategy of completion. work-
• over and ESP goods and services and ensure implementation.
• Manage the operational staff and equipment in a good manner.
• Routine management of operations including mobilizing /demobilizing, reporting and meetings, tracking, planning etc.
• Proper control management L including drills, training, inspection, etc.
• Review and confirm the work order and expenditure of completion, work-over and ESP operation and organize the summary.
• Evaluating contractors’ performance and continuous improvement.
• Responsible for the application of new operational technology in order to achieve high quality and low cost.
• Responsible for operation with partners and government.
• Other duties assigned by supervisors.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or above in Petroleum engineering, drilling and completion or the related.
• At least 10-year related working experience in Oil and Gas Industry.
• D&C work experience is required.
Knowledge:
• Deep understanding of Oil & Gas E&P.
• Extensive knowledge of drilling designing and operation.
• Extensive knowledge of risk analysis methods, tools and process of drilling operation.
• Knowledge of cost control, drilling and engineering.
• Understanding of petroleum contract, reservoir, geology and oil production.
