Project Officer- East Africa WEE Evidence Advocacy & Communications at ActionAid

ActionAid is an International Development Agency working in over 50 countries in Africa, Asia, Latin America, and the Caribbean. ActionAid Uganda’s mission is to achieve social Justice, gender equality, and poverty eradication by working with people living in extreme poverty and exclusion, their communities, people’s organizations, activists, social movements, and their supporters.
We seek to recruit a suitably qualified, self-driven, result oriented, dynamic, and competent person willing to share in our Vision and the aspirations of our 5th country Strategy. .

Qualifications, Experience and Competences:
Degree in any of the following disciplines: Development Studies, Social Sector Planning, Social Work and Social Administration Economics and A Legal background is an added advantage.
5-7 Years of experience in Policy advocacy, communications and campaigns; Experience working with women groups, collectives; Engagement at regional, national and grassroot; Working with Ministries, Departments and Agencies e.g. Gender and Finance; Women Economic empowerment and working with collectives and women groups at grassroot and regional levels
