Position: Project Driver
Vacancy: two (2).
Contract Type: 7 Months (Renewable)
Location: Mbale (with frequent travels to the field)
SUMMARY OF ROLE
Reporting to the Logistics Officer, the Project Driver will oversee the provision of reliable, secure driving services and proper use and maintenance of assigned office vehicles
JOB REQUIREMENTS.
• level (UCE) or equivalent.
• A certificate in motor vehicle mechanics
• Computer literate especially in Ms Word and Excel and use of Internet.
• At least 5 years’ working experience in similar role, preferably with an International NGO
• Must possess a valid Ugandan Driving License, at least DL class with a clean driving record
• Training in defensive driving is an added advantage.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with prioritization
• Ability to drive long distance and for long hours.
