THE EDGE TRADING LIMITED is currently seeking an experienced PROJECTS OPERATIONS MANAGER to join the company senior management team.
The EDGE trading is rising as one of the top 15 coffee exporters in the country and is projected to perform even better in the coming years. Through development grant funding, the company is pursuing a robust expansion of its out-grower network in order to integrate more smallholder farmers from whom to aggregate quality and export grade coffee. The Projects Operations Manager is a key role in the senior management team in the company and is ultimately responsible leading in expanding the out-grower operations across the country and as well as planning and leading the implementation of grant projects. .
Experience required:
• At least 5 years’ experience working with agricultural cooperatives in rural communities/locations.
• Basic knowledge and experience in agronomy and climate change adaptation in coffee will be an added advantage
• Good knowledge of the Luganda language is required
• Ability to ride a motorcycle with a valid riding license & at least two years of riding experience
