Deputy Director Strategy Management and Business Development at Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA)

Minimum Qualification
Economics; or any other related field plus a Master’s Degree in any of the above fields from a recognized University / Institution. Applicant should be in possession of specialized training in Project Planning and Implementation. Applicants should be in possession of a Post Graduate qualification in Management or any other related field from a recognized University / Institution.

Working Experience
Applicants should have a minimum of nine (9) years working experience, three (3)of which should have been gained at Assistant Commissioner or Head of Department level in Government or from a reputable organization.

Duties
The incumbent will be responsible to the Deputy Executive Director for performing the following duties:-
• Developing and monitoring the implementation of projects under KCCA in line with Authority mandate and strategic objectives.
• Developing project proposals and Solicit for funding in line with KCCA mandate and strategic objectives
• Designing and monitoring the implementation of procedures and tools for project execution and management in line with the project requirement.
• Defining project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and applicable stakeholders.
• Reviewing project progress report and make recommendation to management in line with the project implementation plan.
• Monitoring the implementation of the approved project and report on progress to management in line with the project implementation service level agreement
• Developing and controlling the budget for project in line with KCCA financial guidelines and donor requirements.
• Providing technical guidance to staff and management on all matters pertaining to the project.
• Managing the performance of staff under direct supervision in accordance with the Performance Management guidelines.
• Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
