Senior Officer- Administrator Outgrowers (Kayunga) at Kakira Sugar Limited

Kakira Sugar Limited is a leading sugar manufacturer in Uganda. KSL boasts of two (2) sugar estates, one in Kakira — Jinja and the other in Kayunga. We seek to recruit dynamic, competent and experienced candidates to fill various vacant position in the company.
Title: Senior Officer- Administrator Outgrowers (Kayunga)

Reporting to Head Kayunga

Will be responsible for:
• General administration of Kayunga Sugar Project, head office. i.e office maintenance. stationery, Office furniture, hygiene and monitoring the usage of utilities like power and water
• Controlling issues in all stores in Kayunga area and ensuring maintenance of stock levels of all items required for the smooth running of the estate.
• Preparing annual budget for the department in conjunction with Head Kayunga.
• Monitoring the usage of company property on the estate like vehicle, company house and other company item allocation to employees like fridges, cooker and furniture.
• Managing all external contractors and process their payment according to work done in specified time.
• Taking charge of data captured across the estate and generate the required reports.
• Scrutinizing and verifying all bills for payments before presentation to the Head Kayunga for approval.
• Scanning the daily operational returns on labour deployment and productivity for any outstanding information for immediate action by the Head Kayunga, and draw his prompt attention to it.

Qualifications:
Applicants should have a minimum of bachelor’s degree in any of the following: Social Work and Social Administration, Human Resource Management. Business Administration or in any other related equivalent qualification from a reputable institution

Experience:
A minimum of five (5) years hands on experience in administration, three (3)years of which should have been in a supervisory position preferably in an agricultural setting/sector.
