Role Purpose: The role is responsible for selling KJL products and is the key point of contact for clients. The role works consultatively with the service team to answer customer queries and to provide technical advice and presentations.
Main Responsibilities
• Market knowledge for Diesel, Gas, Thermal and Solar based power plants
• Prepare the sales strategy for Uganda market.
• Create the strong enquiry base for respective products/ services.
• Analyse the market requirements, competitor’s plans/ strategies and prepare the business plans. Preparing presentations, proposals etc. as per specific customer’s requirement
• Should be able to prepare tenders and take lead to win the same.
• Making close relationship with consultants, contractors, customers, and all working staff.
• Aware of Quality Assurance plans, safety requirements and environmental requirements.
Understand and translate buyer requirements into a standard solution, proposal, and cost estimates.
• Academic & professional qualifications
• Minimum: Diploma or equivalent Electrical Engineering, Sales, Marketing, or equivalent qualification
Relevant working experience:
Minimum 3 years’ experience working in sales and marketing, prior experience working in Generator sales will be an added advantage.
