Luuka Plastics Ltd. is one of the Leading Manufacturer of high quality flexible packaging materials and plastic products in East Africa. We are currently looking for competent candidates to fill the following positions that exist in our group;
JOB TITLE: QUALITY CONTROLLER
REF: LPL/QC/29/03/2021 .

REPORTING TO THE QUALITY SUPERVISOR, THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL;
1. Sample, test and analyze raw materials, semi products and products and ensure they conform to the standard quality production parameters and specifications.
2. Guide train and sensitize the production team in the quality control production Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensure production of quality products
3. Update and implement quality control SOPs, submit daily quality control reports, participate in internal and external audits and adhere to the health and safety and QMS guidelines at all times.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Industrial Chemistry, Textile Engineering or any other related discipline.
• Minimum 2years experience in the same role in a manufacturing set up in a reputable organization
Knowledge of various laws, regulations, guidelines, procedures and ISO Standards in a manufacturing organization.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCES REQUIRED
• Self-motivated, excellent interpersonal, team work, customer care, strong leadership and managerial skills
• Ability to multi-task, flexible, results focused, creative, innovative, analytical, pays attention to details, minimum supervision, professional and an asset to the company
