We are a fast growing, medium sized media firm in Kampala – Uganda. Established in 2019, we are a young but, vibrant, creative enterprise looking towards addressing the customers’ needs in content creation and dissemination for business, leisure and learning. .

Description of Purpose
This is a mid-level career opportunity. The candidate for this role will offer strategic guidance and advisory to top management on the most suitable marketing activities for the firm, in addition to this, s/he must ensure strategic and efficient development and implementation of suitable and result-oriented partnerships, brand management, and advertising for the firm

Key Result Areas
• Develop and be the focal point in implementing a workable marketing strategy for the firm
• Brand management for the firm
• Public relations
• Develop feasible partnerships
• Identify events where the brand can gain further visibility
• Advertising

Qualification and Experience
• A degree in Marketing or a related degree from a recognized institution
• 5 years’ working experience in the service industry, preferably media.

Technical Competences
• Highly creative and good at developing concepts and ideas for implementation
• Knowledge of both traditional and digital / online marketing
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Strong writing, storytelling and all-round creativity.
• Sales & Negotiation
• Technology savvy

Behavioral Competence
• High integrity
• Authenticity
• Ability to use good judgement
• Team player with excellent people skills
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and deliver under tight deadlines
