Minimum Qualification
• Applicants should be Ugandans in possession of an Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology; or Computer Science; or Information Science; or Library and Information Science; or Bachelor of Science in Statistics; or Mathematics; or Physics; or Electrical Engineering; or Electronics from a recognized University/Institution.

Working Experience
• Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management, knowledge of system security and data backups/recovery and being familiar with various operating systems and platforms will be an added advantage.

Duties
The incumbent will be responsible to the Senior Systems Administrator for performing the following duties:
• Installing and configuring software and hardware;
• Managing network servers and technology tools;
• Setting up accounts and work stations;
• Monitoring performance and maintaining Information Technology systems according to requirements;
• Troubleshooting issues and outages;
• Ensuring security through access controls, backups and firewalls;
• Upgrading Information Technology systems with new releases and models;
• Building an internal Wi-Fi with technical documentation, manuals and IT policies;
• Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
