Position: Head Teacher -Mbazzi Riverside Primary School .
Key duties and responsibilities
• Leadership and general administration
• Personnel administration of the school
• Oversee school accounting operations
• Prepare the schemes of work/ lesson plans and teach students
• Monitor teaching and curriculum coverage
• Promote discipline among learners and staff
• Equipping the lab, store and the library
• Link the school with all stakeholders
• Prepare progress & summary reports for management.
Person specification
• Grade five (5) Diploma in Primary Education
• Registered and certified by the Ministry.
• A degree in primary education is an advantage
• 5 years’ primary school teaching experience with 2 years as Deputy or Director of studies.
• Thorough understanding of Ugandan primary education curriculum and teaching methods.
• Willingness to work and stay in a remote area.
