Kampala Hospital Limited (KHL) is seeking a dedicated and qualified Pharmacy Dispenser to join our dynamic healthcare team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

– Dispensing Medications: Accurately dispense medications in accordance with standard dispensing guidelines.

– Patient Education & Counseling: Provide essential education and counseling to patients on medication use and adherence.

– Collaborative Care: Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient-centered care.

– Quality Assurance: Participate in internal quality assurance audits and conduct periodic checks on drug use, storage, and handling across various units.

– Documentation & Reporting: Maintain thorough documentation and reporting on daily pharmacy operations.

Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) & Pharmacovigilance (PV):

Engage in activities related to AMR and PV to ensure patient safety and optimal use of medications.

QUALIFICATIONS

– Educational Background: Diploma in Pharmacy or Clinical Medicine.

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a community pharmacy or hospital pharmacy practice
