JOB PURPOSE
To provide guidance and technical support to the management on proper management and accountability for the financial, production and human resources of MCAL in accordance with rules and regulations
KEY FUNCTIONS
• Developing and management of company’s annual performance plans and budgets
• Developing company’s strategic marketing and sales plan for all company products
• Supervising and coordinating all activities in the factory to ensure that the company runs profitably Ensuring and coordinating safe custody and maintenance of all company properties, documents. records and assets
• Adherence to MCAL and Government priorities, policies, procedures, legal obligations and regulations maintained
• Managing and providing efficient utilization and accountability of all resources of the company
• Maintaining quality control of the factory production process and collaborating with quality control managers to ensure efficiency and productivity Compiling timely reports and presentations for BOD and shareholders to guide decision making
QUALIFICATIONS
• Should have an Honors Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized institution in Management science, Business administration, Agribusiness, public administration or any other business or management related field and relevant technical qualifications will be a plus
EXPERIENCE
• At least Seven (7) years working experience and four (4) years’ experience in a managerial role working with a profit-making entity, finance management skills and high level of integrity
• Experience with quality control, logistics, supply chain management and an understanding of the agribusiness is necessary and specifics on the cotton industry is an added advantage
