Chinese Language Translator at Huaye international Logistics Company Ltd

Location/ Duty station: Namanve Industrial Park.

Responsibilities.
1. Provides both simultaneous and consecutive interpretation support.
2. Translates Chinese intermediate to advanced level printed materials including technical manuals and Chinese foreign language periodicals into good grammatical English.
3. Transcribes and translates Chinese foreign language audio files into good grammatical English.
4. Prepares and updates databases of translated source Chinese material.
5. Participates in analytical meetings or conferences when applicable.

Qualifications:
1. Certificate in at least HSK Level 3
2. A minimum experience of 2years translating Chinese
3. Must have a solid understanding of computers with experience in the Microsoft application
4. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
5. Give attention to detail.
6. Interpersonal skills using tact, patience and courtesy.
