Purpose of the Role: Management and control of digital tax stamps.
Reports To: UBL Tax manager
Key Accountabilities
- Following through to ensure a GRN is done for beer codes and IDU paper stamps by stores with appropriate documentation.
- Reconcile amounts disbursed to URA vs receipts done.
- Reconcile stamps receipted vs actual posting on Sicpa machine and provide evidence of receipt.
- Verify the shift report source documents both for Beer packaging and IDU.
- Accurate forecasting and ordering of imports paper stamps.
- Activate daily reports for Import’s paper stamps and reconcile the activation report end to end to ensure the data is a correct and accurate.
- Periodically review SOPs against implementation on the ground and to ensure full compliance and any updates that need to be made.
- Own the stocktaking process on DTS.
- Oversee the process of URA damages verification.
- Maintain a reconciliation of stamps received from stores, used for manual application, damages returned to stores and stamp balances at hand.
- Participate in DTS stock investigations as and when requested and report findings.
- Perform regular audits of key DTS processes including; Receiving, Put Away, Pick & Dispatch according to agreed schedules and report.
- Prepare the overall month end reconciliation of DTS and circulate for review and approval.
