Market Research Executive at Roofings Ltd

Roofings Ltd is a leading manufacturer of quality steel and plastic building products in East Africa. We are Currently seeking to recruit a highly motivated, creative, and competent person, with zeal to perform beyond expectations and excited to Join a (27) years leading steel manufacturer as a Market Research Executive.

Responsibilities
• Collect data on consumers and marketplaces and consolidate information into actionable items, reports and presentations as will be guided.
• Participate in collecting data for feasibility studies.
• Compile and analyze statistical data using qualitative and quantitative methods to collect it.
• Interpret data, formulate reports, and make recommendations.
• Conduct physical market research.
• Remain fully informed on market trends, other parties research and implement best practices.
• Information on new entrants and exits in the market.
• Any other tasks assigned by the line manager.

Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience
• The ideal applicant must hold a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Statistics, Economics, Quantitative Economics & Business Analytics, or any related course.
• A minimum of 3 years’ working experience in a similar role.
• Ability to interpret large amounts of data and to multitask.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Excellent knowledge of statistical packages (SPSS, SAS or similar), databases and MS Office.
• Adequate knowledge of primary data collection methodology and methods (polls, focus groups, surveys etc.)
• Strong analytical & Critical thinking.
• Fluent in English, Swahili or French.
• Ability to develop creative solutions to problems.
• Ability to handle strong pressure and work under supervision.
• High organizational and negotiation skills.
