Overview. EQUATOR Seeds Limited one of the reputable seed companies in Uganda invites applications from suitably qualified and interested candidates to fill in following positions of sales agronomist and farm manager
2. 4 Sales Agronomists West (4 positions)
Candidates must have basic understanding of the functioning of seed agri-business, crop production and animal production in line with climate smart farming techniques. Must be passionate about sales generation, Must maintain professional networks and keep abreast of developments in agricultural science, result oriented person, keen problem solver who is focused on efficiency and takes hands on approach.

Nature of employment:
3 months contract renewal based on performance with likelihood of permanent recruitment

Commencement of duty:
Within three weeks from deadline.

Key Responsibilities, Experience & Skills required for sales agronomist.
• Work with Marketing/ other sales personnel and prequalified customers to meet company’s sales target
• Work with and provide technical support to local communities to promote adoption of EQUATOR Seeds products through demo establishment and farmer field days
• Expand company’s clientele through promoting our brand identity, recruiting more agro input traders, cooperatives.

Qualifications.
• Must be able to ride motorcycle
• Must be conversant with local language(s) of the regions
• Computer literate
