Regional Managers x4 at Dairy Development Authority (DDA)

Reporting to Director Technical Services the successful candidate shall head the regional office and shall be required to perform the following duties;
• Manage all DDA resources at Regional office.
• Direct and manage the implementation of government policies governing milk production, processing, marketing and consumption of milk and milk products.
• Develop strategies and interventions to strengthen dairy stakeholders’ organizations within the region.
• Plan and oversee trainings that is aimed at increased milk production, productivity and value addition.
• Ensure dairy farms, businesses, milk and milk products within the region comply with the set standards and regulations.
• Coordinate and support relevant actors in the region to enhance development in the dairy industry.
• Plan, implement, monitor, evaluate and report on the dairy interventions in the region.
• Assemble statistical data relating to the dairy industry and register farms in the region.
• Any other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Required Qualifications and experience
• Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine or Honours degree in Food Science & Technology or Honours degree in Animal Production, Technology & Management or any other Honours in a relevant qualification from a recognized University.
• Masters degree in a relevant field is a must.
• Post Graduate qualification in Management or Administration is a must.
• At least 8-years of working experience of which three (3) years must be at senior level.
