District Technical Advisor x7 at Doctors with Africa CUAMM

District Technical Advisor (7 Positions in the Karamoja districts).

Function:  Support the DHT in comprehensive planning, partner coordination, reporting, information management, support supervision, rollout of outreach services, VHT strengthening, training and health facility mentorship and team building.

Job requirements:

Medical Degree or related health qualifications. Masters degree (like MPH, MSc HSM, MSc International Health, Msc Epidemiology or Msc Health Services Research) will be strongly desired and so will be commensurate experience in public health programming. Additional requirements include experience in maternal child, adolescent health, quality improvement, PMTCT, HIV treatment and care including TB, training, knowledge of the Uganda Health Policy and Plan, and knowledge of the district health system. Candidates should have proficiency in computer usage (especially spreadsheets and data management programs) and should demonstrate good understanding, manipulation and use of health data. Main results include improved performance of the district in the key RMNCAH, HIV/TB, Nutrition and community health indicators.
