National Union of Women with Disabilities of Uganda (NUWODU) is an indigenous women led Disabled Peoples Organization. It is an umbrella Organization that was formed in 1999 with the overall purpose of bringing together all categories of girls and women with disabilities including the physically, sensory and mentally impaired women.
NUWODU provides a strong voice for a common cause, particularly to defend, protect and promote the rights and advocate for equal opportunities for Women and Girls with Disabilities.
NUWODU works to advance the Equality, Empowerment and the Rights of Women and Girls with Disabilities in development programs.
VISION: A society where Women and Girls with Disabilities live dignified lives.
MISSION: To promote the political, economic, social and cultural advancement of Women and Girls with Disabilities through advocacy for their effective participation in development.
Position: Monitoring and Evaluation Officer -Kampala
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Monitoring and Evaluation Officer will work with the project teams and technical staff to support implementation of the project M&E and data management systems and in ensuring collection, analysis and dissemination of information to track project progress at project district and hospital levels. .

Key Responsibilities include
• Assist with establishing monitoring and evaluation system using relevant M&E Toolkit;
• Contribute to the implementation of the project’s M&E plan;
• Coordinate and assist monitoring and evaluation data collection activities, including logistics of form distribution and collection;
• Coordinate and assist data processing, including data transfer, entry, verification and cleaning
• File forms according to compliance protocols;
• Coordinate internal communication on M&E progress and results;
• Coordinate temporary M&E staff or consultants [e.g. data entry personnel);
• Assist with M&E database management
• Work with government and non-government partners to implement M&E activities
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Minimum Qualifications
• The ideal employee must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Social sciences, statistics, quantitative economics or related field. A PGD in M&E
• A minimum of five years‘ experience with M&E systems, data collection, and reporting;
• Experience with monitoring project implementation;
• Experience in electronic data collection, data cleaning and verification as well as data processing;
• Advanced knowledge of Excel tor data analysis, including use of formulas, functions and calculations to analyze data required;
• Ability to use both quantitative (e.g., SPSS, Stata, etc.) and qualitative methods
• Ability to balance work within a team environment while working with minimal supervision;
• Strong organizational, communication, computer, and interpersonal skills;
• Ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
