Post: Joint Venture Coordinator
Location: Kampala, Uganda however can mobilized to Lake Albert area, other construction sites or other cities as required..
Primary function:
Coordination of joint venture (JV) aspects of CNOOC Uganda Limited operated and non-operated assets.
Responsibilities:
• Communicate with Join Venture Partners and Government Authorities to ensure that appropriate information is-conveyed from / to the different Stakeholders.
• Liaise with departments on all meetings with Partners and the Regulator to ensure appropriate representation at meetings.
• Assist in the scheduling of various meetings with Partners and the Regulator and in the preparation of presentation materials for the various meetings.
• Attend meetings with Joint Venture Partners and the Regulator as necessary, review all meeting resolutions and provide recommendations.
• Follow up with Internal Stakeholders for timely responses and actions on issues raised by Partners and the Regulator.
• Assist in the preparation of memos and reports to internal and external stakeholders.
• Identify, evaluate and implement improvements within the JV that would improve business performance.
• Other duties assigned by superior.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering, Geosciences, Finance, Project Management, Legal or related.
• At least 5-years‘ Oil & Gas industry related working experience.
Knowledge:
• Knowledge of Oil & Gas exploration and production operations in Uganda
• Familiarity with PSA / JOA of oil &gas industry Experience working with JV partners, regulators and across all levels of CNOOC Uganda Limited business.
