Biyinzika Poultry International Limited (BPIL) is the leading integrated poultry company and a recognized household brand within Uganda. Established 30 years ago as Biyinzika, BPIL has grown from small beginnings to a company with over 9?5 employees stationed in over 9 production sites. BPIL produces and distributes quality day-old chicks and HACCP certified animal feed through over 40 branches within Uganda and the East African region. BPIL also produces chicken meat products under the Pearl Chicken brand retailed directly through our 30 Pearl chicken shops. Pearl also supplies leading wholesale, retail and food service customers with quality Ugandan National Bureau of Standards (UNBS) certified products.
Position Title: Food Mill Accountant
Location: Katega, Mukono District
Reports to: Inventory Manager .

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
• Collaborates with Feed mill manager to explain results, advise improvements in internal controls, identify inefficiencies, understand operations to ensure reporting integrity, safeguard company assets and identify risks.
• Ensure all feed mill stock movements are effected through Navision business central {ERP system}.
• Reconcile weekly stocks {Finished goods and raw materials} and ensure they tally with Navision balances.
• Carry out physical daily, weekly and monthly stock counts.
• Daily, weekly and monthly reconciliation of system postings, actual productions agree system productions, physical receipts agree system receipts, physical raw material consumption agree physical consumptions.
• Reconcile out grower and third party stocks to ensure they’re fully invoiced by the commercial team.
• Analyse variances and communicates explanations to management with recommended actions.
• Ensure all raw materials received have purchase orders, monitor and reconcile grain purchases, ensure accurate moisture is recorded and adjusted in Biyinzika books.

Qualifications, Skills and Competencies
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• ACCMCPA Level three.
