Our client is now seeking to recruit competent, dynamic and experienced individuals to fill the positions below:
Director Research, Innovation and Learning
The Director Research, Innovation and Learning is responsible for carrying out planning, execution and implementation of the research and learning function of the institution in strict compliance with relevant laws and regulations, policy and guidelines. .
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide leadership to the research and learning team.
• Design, coordinate and supervise the research activities, ensuring that they are carried out in line with the approved policies and in accordance with best practice, policies and procedures.
• Recruiting, training, and guiding research, innovation and learning department staff.
• Develop and execute the client’s annual research and learning plan including the development of systems for monitoring and evaluating the research and learning projects.
• Represent the client with key stakeholders and partners as required.
• Identify and exploit research opportunities relevant to the client and engage research and learning partners to support the client’s research agenda.
• Participate and present in industry forums, client discussions, and conferences as a representative of the organization.
• Lead the development of new and improved mode of delivery of the client’s services including training, business advisory and mentor-ship.
• To review the client’s research, innovation and learning policies and practices.
• Advise and support the client’s leadership team on how to transform service deliver for entrepreneurs and clients as a result of the research findings.
• Preparation and monitoring of the research and learning budget.
• Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time
EDUCATIONAL AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
The position requires the following minimum qualifications:
• A Master’s degree in business administration, development management, entrepreneurship or a related field.
• At least five (5) years’ experience in provision of business advisory and entrepreneurship services in a reputable organization.
• Membership of a professional organization is an added advantage.
• Research and training experience in a public/private organization is an added advantage.
• Must have experience in research projects
• Age limit 50 years

• Self-driven person with well-developed oral, written and communication skills.
• Demonstrated high level of integrity.
