The National Library of Uganda (NLU), a government of Uganda Semi-Autonomous institutional mandated to collect, preserve and disseminate Uganda’s documented heritage and to oversee the development of libraries in the country is looking for qualified persons to fill the positions of Digital Literacy Coach and Digital Literacy Project Assistant to work under the “Digital skills@your local library” project that is to be implemented using sustainable basic digital and mobile literacy programmes in public and community libraries across Uganda, with the youth and women being targeted. .
Digital Literacy coach (Contract)
Contract duration: 2 years (24 months) contract
Basic Salary: 1,500,000 UGX monthly, OR 18,000,000 UGX p.a
Employment Terms: Full-time
Duty Station: Kampala
Job Description:
The Digital Literacy Coach, will ensure continued support to public and community libraries in planning and delivery of basic digital and mobile literacy training programmes as well as continually monitor, evaluate and report on the progress.
