We are seeking for a suitable candidate to fill the Position of Data Analyst
Reports to: Head of Innovations & Business Transformation
Job purpose:

The purpose of this role is to Design, Develop and manage the Bank’s Analytics engine providing KPI Dashboards, Analytics and Insights into data to support Data Driven Decision making.
The role holder shall be in charge of the Bank’s Data resources and shall ensure that data Quality and requirements meet the Business Requirements of the Bank.

Key Result Areas:

• Design, Development & Implementation of the Bank’s Data warehouse solution
• Design, Develop and Build an ETL Process for loading Data from different Bank Platforms into the Central Data Analytics engine
• Perform daily Extraction, Transformation and Loading of data into the Analytics engine
• Build Automated Performance dashboards displaying KPIs for the Different Business Units
• Provide Analytics and Insights interpreting trends in Complex data to support Data Driven Decision Making
• Support Data Requirements gathering and manage Data Quality control in all bank’s information systems
• Support and manage the Bank’s Data Analytics engine
• Support the implementation of digital strategic initiative by monitoring usage of the various digital channels.
• Design & Develop Ad-hoc Reports
• Contribute to research goals and build on and refine appropriate outline ideas for the evaluation, development, demonstration and implementation of research
• Any other Duties as assigned by the Supervisor

Qualifications and Experience:

• • Sound knowledge of technological trends and Disruptive Technologies
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Computing, Accounting, Business Statistics or related field
  • Certifications in OCA, OCP or SQL Server is an added Advantage
  • Strong SQL and Data Analytics Skills
  • At least 4+ years of technical in SQL, PL-SQL, Python, DotNet React, Java, Jbase or T24 Programming
  • Sound knowledge of Banking Reporting Requirements and KPI’s

Skills, Abilities and Job Related Knowledge:

• • Excellent knowledge of systems analysis, prototyping, construction, integration, and migration functions
  • Sound Knowledge of API Banking Technologies
  • Good Problem Solving and Analytical Skills
  • Good Communication and Inter-personal Skills
