Roofings Rolling Mills is a leading steel manufacturer in East Africa. Comprising of a wire galvanizing line, reinforced TMT bars rolling mill, Continuous Galvanizing line and Colour Coating line located in Namanve Industrial and Business Park, Kampala Uganda.
We are seeking to recruit a motivated person with integrity and zeal to perform beyond expectations to fill the position of Storekeeper.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Receiving materials/items with delivery notes and invoices.
• Enter all incoming items into the register and Bin card with delivery note number, invoice no., LPO number, and GRN number immediately on receipt of goods.
• Get Signature from the store controller for documentations
• Maintaining stock on daily basis
• Issuing items with departmental duly signed requisitions
• Maintenance of store records for proper accountability
• Update the store controller before stock runs out
• Inform the store controller about new items required by departments
• Designing and labeling all items with identification tags
• Maintain the store clean and tidy daily
• Counter checking of the stock on a weekly basis
• Any other tasks assigned by the immediate supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILL AND EXPERIENCE:
• The applicant must hold a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or related field.
• A minimum of three years of progressive work experience in a busy store
• A Sound knowledge in MS Excel, word, power point and ERP software’s. Having interfaced with SAP is an added advantage
