Sap Basis Administrator at Kakira Sugar Limited

We are seeking a qualified candidate to fill the following vacancies in our Company .

Duties: Will be responsible for:
• User administration and authorization, SAP Security operations, Print management.
• Starting or stopping SAP instance, OS space and disk management, SAP system backup.
• SAP system monitoring for superior performance and health, Upgrading SAP kernels.
• Creating, controlling and managing batch jobs, OS level backup and recovery.
• Request and transport management system, OS level patch monitoring, SAP OSS Notes implementation, Applying addons and support packages, System landscape configuration and operation.
• BR Tool Related Database Administration Roles and Responsibilities
• A SAP Basis administrator should also perform certain database administration functions.

Qualifications:
• Experience in implementing and supporting SAP ECC with specialism in one or more components such as ECC. ‘
• Knowledge of Linux (Red Hat Linux, Oracle Enterprise, SUSE), database administration (Oracle, SQL Server), network administration and SAN administration, Change Management.
• Ability to introduce technical changes into the environment using a structured approach that minimizes risk and achieves high reliability, availability and performance.

• Ability and willingness to document processes and procedures for future use and knowledge transfer.
• Positive attitude, energetic, driven – goes the extra mile, confident, is committed, enthusiastic and determined – willing to take on challenges and has a can-do mind-set.
• Ability to work independently and proactively.
• Team player with excellent written & verbal communication skills.

Qualifications:
Applicant should be holder of any of the following qualifications: Bachelor’s degree preferred in Information Technology OR Computer Science.

Experience:
An ideal candidate should have at least minimum 3 years experience in a similar working environment, with a thorough knowledge of SAP BASIS Administration with SD, MM, FICO and HCM Modules. Candidates having SAP BASIS Certifications will have an added advantage
