Finnish Refugee Council (FRC) is an International NGO promoting community development through adult education on literacy, language, business and livelihood related trainings among refugees and host community member since 1997 in Uganda as an operational partner to UNHCR and OPM. .
FRC in partnership with World Food Programme (WFP) is coordinating 12-month project to scale up Financial Literacy Training (FLT) in 11 refugee settlements: Adjumani, Impevi, Kiryandongo, Kyaka II, Kyangwali, Lobule, Nakivale, Oruchinga, Palorinya, Rhino Camp and Rwamwanja. The FLT training program aims to reach 141,010 refugee households receiving cash-based transfers (CBT) from WFP.
FRC is currently seeking for dynamic, qualified Ugandans to fill the following positions.
Reports To: Project Manager
Main purpose:
MEAL Specialist will coordinate all data collection together with WFP M&E unit and develop tools, Indicator Performance Tracking, and database on trained households. MEAL Specialist is building capacity of staff to use the M & E tools and conducts data analysis and quality assurance.
Qualification:
Masters’ Degree in Monitoring and Evaluation/ Project Management/ Statistics.
At least 4 years work experience in similar position.
