JOB TITLE: GRAPHICS ILLUSTRATOR ASSISTANT
Responsible to: Graphics Designer Illustrator
Responsible for: None
Salary Scale: CD 9.
Age Limit: Must be aged 23 to 45 years.
Job Purpose
Undertaking relevant research and generating ideas leading to appropriate illustrations for NCDC’s publications. .

Duties
• Assist in design and layout of NCDC publications.
• Participate in workshops where expertise is needed.
• Save, store and back up document files (Softcopies) in an orderly format for ease of future retrieval and reference.
• Assist in development of preservation of NCDC brand.
• Liaising with editors, writers or designer(s) to make accurate illustrations.
• Complete projects as per the set time frames
• Any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

• Good Communication and Interpersonal skills
• Integrity.

• Ability to meet deadlines under minimum supervision.
Terms of service: Permanent

Person Specification
• Hons Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Art and Design or Drawing/Graphic design from a recognised Institution.
• Minimum of one (1) year of graphic design work or related work experience in printing industry.
